How I see it...

Laying in my hammock, sipping an adult beverage, I contemplate the deeper issues and finer points of this world and my life. I reach well informed opinions and share them here. Being mostly Irish, I can argue either side of any issue; but you throw the Swede in there and I become a very stubborn, stoic, stick-to-my-values type of person.

Dr. Kissinger Rocks...

Dr. Kissinger has an amazing brain. I truly believe that he is one of the smartest people of our times.

The question is, how do we get people to understand his mindset and decide that the easy path is not only untenable, but potentially deadly.

I am afraid that history is going to repeat itself. Quicker than natural attrition would normally bring it around because men are too afraid to do anything. Too afraid to offend somebody. Too afraid to stand up and fight for what is right. Remaining passive while being punched repeatedly in the nose will only leave you with a bloody nose. You can't run away, because the agressor will chase you like a dog who senses fear and a kill. And eventually you bleed to death from being punched in the nose.

War is not always the answer, but passive love will only get you run over.
